TADA! Youth Theater to Put on Sunday Holiday Performance in Flatiron
Eric Shapiro

Looking for something to do with your kids on Sunday afternoon? As a part of their holiday event series, 23 Years of Flatiron Cheer, the Flatiron 23rd Street Partnership invites families to watch a free caroling performance by the TADA! Youth Theater. The event will begin at 2:00 PM at Flatiron Plaza North on 23rd and Broadway, right next to Madison Square Park. Founded in 1984 by Janine Nina Trevens and Linda Reiff, the TADA! Youth Theater! is dedicated to both putting on professional-level youth theater performances and teaching kids how to harness their innate creative energy to perform themselves. According to TADA’s website, through their program, “young people gain confidence and learn commitment, responsibility, communication and teamwork…skills that are critical to their success both in school and in life.” TADA! has a track record of success, with many of its performers going on to achieve recognition in a wide variety of areas. See below for videos of the TADA! Youth Theater in action, as well as a great informational peace that outlines the goals and philosophy of the organization.

  1. Very comprehensive article. Videos added a lot. All in all, unusually real…a fine article brought to life.
