In honor of Earth Day, Time Warner Cable invited children from Free Arts NYC to come to its 23rd Street offices to participate in the Cardboard Challenge. Working with company volunteers led by TWC’s “Green Team” and assisted by staff members of Free Arts NYC, the children used cardboard, recycled materials and imagination to build creative artifacts that address environmental challenges. This event is an outgrowth of the annual Global Cardboard Challenge, which is inspired by the short film, “Caine’s Arcade.”
