About

Welcome to Flatiron Hot! News and Bulletin – the place to go for news, reviews, opinions, and happenings in the hopping and happening Flatiron District!   We’ll be blogging and posting on all things FlatIron in the coming weeks …

With social media and smartphone technology progressing at an astounding rate, individuals and businesses alike are becoming interconnected like never before. At FlatIron Hot! and its parent sponsor company, New York City Seminar and Conference Center (NYCSCC), we see these developments as a wonderful opportunity to communicate with clients in ways that would have been impossible a few years ago. Our main priority is and always will be to offer value space and a first-rate staff dedicated to ensuring that your events run smoothly from beginning to end.

That being said, NYCSCC is more than just one company, isolated in the concrete canyons of a bustling and impersonal metropolis. Rather, we prefer to think of ourselves as part of a larger community. Located in the heart of the Flatiron District, we are surrounded by a vast array of cultural wonders. From fine dining, to standup comedy, to concerts, to theater, to academic lectures, there is no shortage of things to do in our neighborhood. In fact, there are so many options that it can feel overwhelming.

The Flatiron Hot blog is dedicated to highlighting a small sampling of these options so that you can choose activities that are best-suited to your interests and, just as importantly, your budget. Our mission is twofold. First, in partnership with the expansive Nearsay Network, we will provide weekly calendars of local events and happening venues that appeal to the diverse tastes of our clients. Second, we will offer in-depth coverage of specific events that warrant special mention.

Your experience in the historic, happening Flat Iron district need not end when you exit our building. Having been here for 12 years, we know that our neighborhood has everything and more to offer; with the help of our blog, you will too!
