Farm Heroes Brings Walking, Talking Veggies to Flatiron Public Plaza

Is it possible – walking, talking carrots, tomatoes and green apples taking over the Flatiron North Public Plaza? No, your eyes are not deceiving you. Get out on this sunny Wednesday afternoon at lunch time and check out the latest, greatest PR effort for Farm Heroes, the newest Candy-Crush-wannabe game for tablets, smartphones and PCs. The North Plaza has farm hands, walking tomatoes and carrots at their booth and a faux-farm setup with tablets, straw, and real fruits and vegetables to provide an appetizing background to try out the latest hot game! Not to be missed …
It’s all part of King, the Candy Crush creator, hosting a PR event with the theme of “Be a Farm Hero” this Wednesday from 12 to 3 PM in the Flatiron North Public Plaza. Rebecca Cole, the renowned design expert, will be there to lead a terrarium workshop, as well as highlight an organic marketplace and juice stand in line with the farm theme. Lots of fun!
